Anyone using this oil? Just picked up 3 cases for $10 a gallon to stock up for my truck. Planning on switching from rotella. What's your guys opinions?

That stuff must be falling off the back of trucks here lately, my dad just bought 15 cases for all his tractors and pickup for I believe 20 bucks a case, he has been running it in his 99 psd for quite a while now and he said it seems to act happier on that oil and with 320,000 on original long block I would say it is pretty decent, about 75000 miles ago it got new hpop, injectors, and a list of other stuff along with a pretty nasty chip, I believe tw tunes and the truck seems happy and did a oil analysis about 10000 with about 3000 miles on the oil and everything was good I believe.

It's as good or better than any other CJ-4, CI-4 non synthetic oil from what I have read.. I happen to use the Motorcraft stuff because the dealer does my maintenance but if I did it myself the Delvac is what I would use.. I believe the base stock of the Delvac is better than the Motorcraft.. I don't worry much about it because I change it every 3K and drive 9K a year..

I use it and like it. My Uncle has ran it in his dump trucks and semi's and won't look at nothing else.

I recently switched to full syn because of the heat here in Az. My friend uses Delvac and likes it. I want the syn for the heat. I now use Rotella T6. On a recent trip a friends oil cooler plugged up and he saw oil temp @ 289*. I think the syn oil saved the eng. Just my $.02.

I,ve been using it for a while now, one thing I can say is it stays clean longer than any other oil Ive used. I do 7500 on my oil changes and its not any where as black as rotella at the same mileage. I dont see as much blow by either with it compared to rotella.
