Ok guys. Oriely's has mobil. Reg for 9.99 and syn for 19.99. Thinking of running the synthetic. What do you all think of the oil.

I personally would run the 15-40 regular oil. When I would be look at the synthetic is for serious cold weather use. 211k and all is well says something for regular oil.

I run the T 5-40 Oil from Rotela. I have 206,000 on the pickup.

I love that oil in the winter. Starts so much quicker and runs smoother.

I have no problem (yet) with leaks from the Full Synthetic Oil..

I run it year round to. It just seems to run better and I can get more miles out of it. And still run nice and even..

But like was said reguler 15-40 runs good in these pickups. Just not as good in the winter.

But the Injectors will love the 5-40 Synthetic.

I've ran both. If running 15w-40, the only brand I run is Mobile Delvac.

I've also ran the Mobile 1 fully syn 5w-40. Good stuff too.

Personally I prefer the Schaeffer's syn 5w-40 best but it's hard to find. Luckily I have a dealer close and can get it cheaper than I can the Mobile synthetic off the shelf.

Those are great prices on delvac and the syn BTW.
