MoonRoof leak

Today i look my moonroof and it was raining and i just see water leak
In the join of the 2 windows .
I go at the dealer and they told me this is normal and show me the gutter on each side of the moonroof.

Il want to know if one of you have the same problem.

Mine definitely doesn't do that. My 15 f150 leaked and the dealer discovered the drain tube wasn't connected. But it's definitely not supposed to leak

It leak in the drain not in the truck. But it seem the Rubber in the middle of the moonroof are not sealed perfectly.

That shouldn't be happening. I'd talk to someone different, or take it to a different dealer.

There is a recent SSM (no. 46346) out for an updated roof opening panel on 2015-2016 F150s with moonroofs exhibiting a water leak. The part is on national backorder and does not have a date for release yet - thus I suspect it is still in testing and procurement.

I suspect the same update will be coming for the Super Duty's. The bonded joint at the rear of the panel allows for water intrusion.

The current design is intended to leak into a trough which eliminates the water via drain tubes at each pillar. Not all trucks exhibit a leak.
