Finally picked up a builder for our new test bed/shop truck.
2011 F350 Crew cab power XL Truck 4x4 Dually cab and chassis truck 230k miles. Was Wrecked, side swiped and jackknifed all cosmetic damage. Been working on it off and on for about a month now, She is getting sprayed white this weekend, and working with our graphics company on the wrap design.
I dont really need a one ton dually, If i am hauling one truck I use a rollback and if i am hauling more then that i prefer a 550/650 to pull with so I pretty sure we are converting this truck to a SRW. I have a bed off a truck we parted out I kinda like and is going to be alot easier then fabbing bed mounts for a pickup bed (narrowed cab and chassis frame rail)
This Truck will be used for general run around and get parts, Take to events and advertise. I have high hopes for the graphics of the wrap we will see how that works up over the next week.
Currently I am wheel shopping, I would like to do some 18 or 20 x12 with a 35-36x15.5 or so tire! Currently holding off on lights (clear or blacked out) depending on what matches the graphics best, Will be building some ladder bars and front 4 link bars here in house.
Deleted and tuned with a Elite diesel vgt single turbo kit and a dmax cheetah turbo from either danville or fleece to play in the local stock turbo classes.
I am excited I have been waiting to play with one of these for awhile now, most we have been able to do in house so far is basic stuff for customers!
