Hey guys just wanted to let everyone know you might see me poking around here asking some generic questions because I just purchased an 04 6.0. I learned a lot about 6.4s because I went through the whole, build, brake, build process with it. But hopefully not the case with this truck. Head studs, new heads, 175/75, powermax 63.5 w/ batmo, fuel lab low pressure, 4.88 tru trac front and rear, probably some other small stuff.

How do you like it so far compared to the 6.4?

.

Weakkkkkkk haha. But my 6.4 was around 800hp. This truck has a tow tune in it with a turbo brake that def has got to go haha. And a muffler so I cant even enjoy the whistle! Im working on straight piping it now but my work schedule sucks!

Nice looking truck.... Question though, what is the snorkel looking thing going up the driver side from the front view?

It is in fact a snorkel. Which I couldn't wait to get rid of, but since I've owned it all my friends and family members have grown to the "its not that bad" feelings about it. Its actually kind of beastly looking from the front. Mink I looked into regular exhaust but with the air compressor mounted where it is I'd really have to do some bending and hacking to make it work.

Dont get me wrong, super nice truck....Just seems like a odd combination of parts - alcoas, snorkle, stack, cowl hood and winch? lol

I think its funny the guy whose truck is covered in cow **** is talking **** lol
Cow Sh!t??? There isn't any dam cow sh!t on this truck and never has been. You should consider yourself lucky. That bed you got was covered in high dollar Missouri dirt. Many legends have had a part in the making of this ground on this side of the river. That was the best thing to cross into the state of Illinois... Well besides from when I occasionally go over there.

LOL
Betcha you dont sink it again anytime soon..

Probably not.... it got cold Sunday and the pond froze over again.
