My friend is driving an 04 right now pulling a trailer and he said the tach will stop working, CEL goes on, and then it has no power. What's the problem and can it easily be fixed?

Id say crank position sensor or wiring, but thats just a guess. Sorry I can't help more

I told him crank position sensor but it was just a guess. Haven't heard back from him so I guess he either finished anyways or gave up.
