Blew a head gasket I'm guessing on the freeway today. Water poured out of the exhaust with white smoke/steam.
So what are my options? Rebuild vs new block? Would like to do it once and right the first time. Thanks corey

Drain oil
Drain coolant
Pull heads
Have them milled flat
Replace cups while heads are out, maybe 910's and pushrods
Install new OEM gaskets, studs!
Fill with oil and coolant with a new thermostat and drive.
You can get it done for about a grand. Good luck and GO BRONCOS

Drain it all out, put a flush solution back in the cooling system, drain, then fresh coolant.

So no? I believe fuel has been slowly mixing with the coolant or vice versa for some time now and im sure thats not a good mix for the thermo/rubber/plastic. Its pouring out of the exhaust like a soda fountain now. Maybe its not the cups?

Pull em. Not that bad dude, unless you feel like not knowing 100%. BTW if a gasket is gone south you will have to. Injector cups are rare failure. Can it happen? Sure. It could be the oil cooler, also rare to mix oil/coolant. When a cooler fails, you usually will just see oil under it on cold mornings. If it was my rig, Id pull em and seal them up like new.

What do you mean by having them Milled flat? I'm working on the removal of the heads

An engine rebuilder will take the head and cut a small amount off the sealing surface to make it flat.
