Wanted to see if anyone has ever used the royal purple max clean fuel additive ? I use the power service brand now but I know the royal purple has great products. I know the power service does more for the injectors but I was curious to see if anyone has used the royaland noticed any difference in fuel economy and throttle response. My truck has 145k mi and just had the head gaskets, head bolts, egr, and oil cooler replaced by ford. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I've lost my respect for royal purple products after I saw the independent testing of gear oils and the were second to worst only beat by Lucas gear oil as dead last.

For fuel additives look for something readily acessable, reasonably priced that foes the job. Power service can be bought ANYWHERE and does the job. The best lubing properties u can get are from 2 stroke oil in a 1000:1 mix.
