Need torque specs

'08 front different caps. Also can the pumpkin come out with out undoing the tie rod bar. Does the pumpkin come right out after removing the caps? got the caps off and it doesn't want to come out. Working on it right now. Thanks for any help in advance.

You'll need to pull the axles first. And I would remove the tie rod.

Axle are out. Caps are off. Feels like it is bound up. Anything needed to get it out?

A little tapping and it is out. Inside seals also out. Found 70 to 85 lbs of torque on line for the caps. Sound about right? Didn't feel like much more then that coming apart.

Went with 75 lbs. hope that's about right. F350 front. For got to say.

I believe they call for 85 ft/lbs.

Well I hope 75 lbs is good enough . That's what we went with. Not really going to be used in 4wd alot. Guess if 10 lbs really makes that much difference it can undone and torqued again.
