Need wastegate help.!!

ive been running the wide open performance wastegate kit my problem is wastegate flutter/chatter i have the manual boost controller open all the way and when i floor it from a dead stop the gate opens it flutters/chatters and doesnt allow me to build any boost it doesnt close untill the torque convertor locks .... i have the wastegate plumbed to the top and the bottom open to the atmosphere im running spartans 300LL... im open to any suggestions any help is appreciated ive searched for wastegate help on this site and i cant really find specific plumbing for the turbosmart wastegate ... thanks.!

Did it just start doing this or is it newly installed?

I had the same issue with a friends WOP gate kit. Turned out the regulator they sent wasn't able to go over 10psi of pressure. You need more like 30psi with the spring they spec in the gate. Either get a bigger regulator or order a bigger spring.

How much spring is in the gate?

I can't remember. Only was able to make 40psi with the regulator maxed out. Swapped the reg and its making 50psi.

i think the kit comes with a 25lb spring... it has always done it since day one but resently it started doing more often
