Yes.. Motorcraft Gold coolant and flush it every 50K.. Some people use an ELC coolant, that's works as well..

IMO, no.. If your going to use an oil additive, use REV-X.. For a fuel additive, I by Motorcraft Performance Cetane boost by the gallon.. 4oz to 25 gallons of fuel..

I bought an upgraded sct fitting kit from ford. Is there any good directions anywhere on how to replace it?

I decided to have a shop do it. I am having the sct fitting replaced, upgraded fuel pressure spring, new oil cooler, sinister egr delete, head studs and gaskets. Is there anything else I should have done while its apart?

make sure they send the heads out to a machine shop to check for flatness, warpage, cracks etc.

Also use OEM ford head gaskets, do not se the Victor reinz/black onyx gaskets.

I would also do the dummy plugs and stand pipes in the high pressure oil rails while youre in there.

When you get the truck back make sure you check the FICM and battery voltage. Low battery voltage will take out the FICM and that in chain effect low ficm voltage will start taking out injectors.
