New 6pos chip and some funky things going on

Soo I just finally got my truck back together, bts 4r100, walbro fuel pump and a 6pos chip got the bts and a chip together from a friend of a friend all came off his 01 7.3(I have a late 99). Anyhow all runs amazing but when I put the chip in my water in fuel light came on, the idle seamed to change, There seams to be no rev limiter in park, and stock setting on the chip has less power then "stock".. My first thought is the chips burnt for a obs or singal shots.. Anyone got any input?

No, also I forgot to say the chip is on a e99 PCM cuz my PCM has a flash tune that I can't remove and I don't know if the chip will override it or not..

You need to get the chip reburned for your truck.

Put your late '99 ECU back in and put the chip on that. That should work.

Swaped it did the same thing so I'm guessing ima have to have it reburned. Now to choose who's tunes ima get... Aslong as the throttle ain't as touchy on the hot tune I'll be happy.. Ain't fun when your off roading

My truck does the same when the ts is in stock....e99 with factory e99 computer
