Just wanted to say hi. I'm sure this topic has been beat to death but coming from a long time cummins owner this is my first ford. I would like to delete my truck and from what I've read they aren't out yet. What are some other options? Other tuning with dpf on that has done good? Just some general information to increase my knowledge about these truck would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Robb

Welcome to the site!

We've had great luck so far with my '15 and a few simple bolt-ons. Our cold air intake kit with a superchip tuner made 480rwhp. All emissions friendly with no loss in drivability. Mileage gains went up by 2mpg on the freeway cruising as well. Very happy so far. Looking to break the 500 mark next weekend with some new billet turbo love from Midwest Diesel.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any help. Be glad to lend a hand!

I would rather delete it. Should I hold out for that? Main reason I sold my 13 cummins was not being able to really do much and regret selling my 700hp 08 cummins. Ideally I'm looking for a 550-650 horse daily driver. What's your thoughts?

It's all up to what you want honestly. I think that given some time, you're going to see 500hp-550hp setups rolling around with emissions systems intact and operational. Whether thats for everybody or not is debatable for sure. Not everybody has the ability to delete their trucks, or even wants to for that matter. Those that do want to delete them, will be able to do so very soon. Deleting is going to be expensive though. It's almost undoubtedly going to require a waste gate kit at this point. The turbine and turbine housing on the factory charger are small, and not playing ball well. Different things in the tuning are being put to the test to fix it but physical limitations are still there. Time will tell.

Me and my truck are gonna try to make as much power possible on emissions equipment before I switch to anything else. Like I said, may not be for everybody

I've talked to a few people local with some test trucks running around but didn't release much info other than in the next month or so they should be available.

Yeah, everything is quiet for good reason. So far, 560 is the highest I've heard that has been reached power wise. Some issues with back pressure are kicking around on different test trucks. No broke parts yet though lol

Ya he had told me 548. That was the big issue on my 08 was the drive pressure and you almost had to swap turbos to get it down to keep from blowing head gaskets. 550 in this truck deleted would be fun and I would be content for awhile. I've got my piggy bank ready to dump on some deletes that I never did on my 13 cummins
