New to competing

I'm pretty new to competing with my truck I've pulled with it at local event and ran it on a dyno for fun. I've never been in a competition with other trucks. I'm sure it takes lots of skill and a mind set that must be consistent. Any advice guys would be great! Thanks

most events you are really just going against your self anyway. If you have never pulled a sled or been down a drag strip I suggest you do that before you go. Same thing with the trailer tow ect.

I've done all them things just never with a big HP truck and never with nitrous.
