I noticed it two days ago when going to pass someone. I was driving 80 and went to gas it when I did the truck did nothing and slowly slowed down. I pulled over to the side and it accelerated normally. Did the same thing last night when I was heading to Houston on 59. No codes. Any ideas?

Tuned? Or did it seem mechanical?

oh. that could be your issue.

if the boost gauge doesnt go up when you lay into it or drops slightly-it usually means sticky vanes.

its not a manual trans is it?

it could possibly be that you may need to raise the speed limiter (governor) with the tuner. 80ish is where most of them were set on some trucks. see it a lot in the early 250's and most (all years) of the 450's and 550's.

How does the truck shift and pull/accelerate up to 80mph? I thought maybe could be worn out torque converter...but maybe not.

Doubt it's the tune...when you roll back into the throttle is it building boost or no?

I have a 5015 livewire and there is a pid for boost. Pretty accurate too. It's right on with my aftermarket gauge
