try this copied and pasted from another site not sure it will work but beats paying a dealer if it does

1. Close all doors, then open your driver side door and press the Unlock button on the drivers door while it is open.

2. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. The door locks will lock and unlock to confirm that you have entered programming mode(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car. If the door locks do not cycle you should try it again but faster. If they still do not cycle, your vehicle may not have keyless entry)

3. Within 8 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5.

4. Within 8 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes.

5. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

It's that easy!

We have many other replacement key fobs and chip keys available for great prices.

Thats not how the OBS trucks program their key fobs.

First off if you dont have a black box under the dash that looks like this

a key fob wont do crap for you

If you do have this box then here is the OBS procedure Ive used a few times

To program (or reprogram) transmitter(s) into the remote entry receiver module, perform the following steps:

1. Turn key to the ON or ON/ACCESSORY position and momentarily short the two terminals of the program connector (C4) (a two-pin connector taped to the wire assembly connected to the remote entry receiver module, approximately 6 inches from the remote entry receiver module). All doors should lock then unlock. Remove shorting pin.
2. Press any button on transmitter. All doors should lock then unlock to verify that the transmitter has been programmed. If door locks do not respond, press button again (up to three times maximum with the same transmitter).
3. Repeat Step 2 to program additional transmitters into the remote entry receiver module (up to four transmitters maximum).
4. Key off. All doors should lock then unlock.

Somewhere down in Texas..
Right on. I assume I'd have to locate a module to see if it can even have the remote access? I have the window sticker still, don't see anything about keyless entry..so I don't know if that was even an option for it. It'd be nice to have a factory keyless on it though.

Man this is great info. I need to find a fob for my '00 xlt so I can stop putting the key in then door like it's 1989.

On a superduty it will have a relay block with 4 relays on the firewall behind the dash. You can take the trash hook off and look through there to see if you have it. It's mounted right in the center on a stud that's in the firewall, and if you don't have it then there will be a lone stud where it should be.
