No start and blowing black smoke

I have a 00 f250 7.3l I was driving the home this morning and my truck just lost power and stating knocking loud and shut off. No check engine light then got it started it would run bout 2 min and start knocking again and shut off. Got it home pulls fuel filter and replaced it put come 911 in there quite cold here today unplugged the ipr and got it started ran for 3 min and started knocking again and shut off. Got a code of p1670 odm has detected a voltage greater then 33v and p0340 camshaft position sensor a circuit any ideas. I have replaced the cps and still the same thing

that would be an , Injector Driver Module.

Guy called me today looking for help with the exact same symptoms and code. He's got a bad idm I believe. 4 cylinders down. Told him to get a spare and test it

It is when it comes to cps' s. Im not discrediting the idm as the culprit, but aftermarket cps' s are KNOWN to cause problems in these trucks

Got a ford cps put it in left the truck plugged in over night beacuse it was 4• here last night charged battery's fir about half hr started right up

My vote is UVCH partially coming loose. If it happens again, look at the connections on the inboard side of each valve cover. There is a connection there that will come loose from time to time. If it does, a whole side of the engine shuts down. I am not saying that the CPS is not your issue, just something to keep in mind if it happens again.
