I just did the oil cooler and head gaskets . Put all the way back together , all new rail to injector lines , changed filters too.
Cab back on and will not crank .
Tried key on and off at least 20 times .
Bled banjo fitting on top another 8 times.
Question I do have is after a minute or two , of key on cycle , and then letting it sit for a minute . When I crack the Banjo bolt , ther is no pressure . Is this normal ?
I do hear a gurgling almost sounds like air purging coming from somewhere under the truck . I am starting to get worried . Really do not want to unhook everything again and lift cab
Any help will be appreciated .

You need to bleed the fuel system with the pump running. If you run the pump, then let it sit, then open the bleeder all you are doing is letting air into the system.

Thank you. Will try that ,as soon as I can man up and go out in the cold .
I guess I'm still confused though as to why it is not building pressure

Just got done , finally got it cranked . Thanks for the advice .
I did what I could to not make a mess , with no luck . I bled it quite a few times , and it still rolled over a bunch before cranking . Needless to say I had a diesel fuel mess!
Thanks again !
