We'll I was going time throw a single on the truck well an opportunity has struck for me to make a move and get my own place. So for now it's been pushed back. But I've been thinking about an atmosphere dump wastegate and MPD 30% nozzles. For those running this I know a lower pw tune is needed but do you feel yiuve actually made a gain? Down the road I'll be doing something pump wise I'd like to find a slightly used and proven II because if I dont put a single turbo on I can still pull/race stock class. A new II pump worries me but I may have to just buy one in the next few months if I can't find used. I know some have had luck. Also I'm not sure but I think I read a fuel bowl delete isn't needed but what you guys think about that? I currently have an airdog 165 and will port the rails if I go this route. Thanks guys.

I would do the fuel bowl delete instead of the ported fuel rails. I think on a 1.9ms tune, you'll see a pretty good gain. The truck will probably be pretty smokey at WOT with the stock turbos though.

How many miles are on your hpfp? We recently did a truck with 15% nozzles and it juuust BARELY maintained on a 1.9pw tune. I think by any stretch 30's are too big for stock hpfp.

Jeff I think with nozzles the rails are a must. Not 100% sure about that though. Really wish I could find a pump and believe I can with more and more dual kits coming out, that way I know I'll have a good gain and using all the potential.

I would not try to run 30% nozzles with stock hpfp. There is no way it would hold pressure even with the lower pulse width. If you are going to get a II pump then you that's a different story. I would just wait till you get a pump to do the nozzles.

running 30's on a stock pump is doable, just not a big tune. 1.9ms is a lot of fuel with 30% nozzles. You can back down the pw and still be able to maintain rp and still be faster.

Thought about waiting but you never know when one will come allong if ever. So I thought maybe I could put it in and totally make my mind up if I want to risk throwing away over $2k on a new II pump

I don't think the rails are needed I know trucks with 100 and 150 overs with stock rails...how many people have tried them and taken them back out....?.....the bowl delete will only gain you cleanness under the hood tests have shown no changes in rp with or with out....I understand you want to run certain classes but modded pump I'n some classes are not legal rules...my dual fueler you cant hardly see it any ways and was priced right IM running a Kem 1.9 tune with stock turbos and its just fine not to smokey I'll bump that up later when I try a diff turbo set up and a wg that I should have now

If your keeping the stock hpfp then either leave the stock nozzles or do 15% over. If your doing an II pump then go with 30% nozzles. I just don't see a stock hpfp coming close to holding rail pressure with 30s. More fuel than you think.

Fwiw, When I had the cab off I tried real hard to get the same info you are seeking, I still would like to hear some feedback on one of the II pumps. I would love to have the dual fuelers but its just more than I can swing, If I had some better feedback I would consider lifting the cab again to do that and an oil cooler delete.

Does the cab need to be lifted for hpfp?? I've heard both answers lol. Dual fuelers are a no go for me right now though. The way they tech there's no way id get through. You just can't tell when there's a modded single pump.

I keep forgetting that Elite's 60's are 15%. I'd say it won't work with a 30% nozzle without custom tuning or a bigger pump/dual fuelers.

The pumps that have failed, have been within like 500 miles.
