OBS RCSB conversion

I'm wanting to cut a 95' rclb 2wd and make it a SB. I've searched the interwebs and found a link to the nation, but it wasn't detailed. I'm still left with a couple questions.
-How many inches do you cut out? I read 16" and 16 1/4" are either of those right?
-Can you get correct length brake lines at a parts store (if in stock) for a short bed obs that will be a direct match? Including e-brake.
-What needs to be done as far as fuel tanks go? I know I'm going to eliminate the front one.

I cut 16 1/4 inches out of my frame and It lines up perfectly. I ran my own new brake lines. I just took my fuel tank selector valve out and deleted the front tank.
