OD cancel blowing fuse

Slowing down the other day I hit the overdrive cancel and it blew a fuse that caused the tach, oil pressure and battery gauge to go dead and never canceled overdrive out. Never tried to use it before then. Really like to figure this out cause it would help on the track and dyno.

Most likely the wires have worn through at the end of the shifter handle. Take the plastic cover off of the steering column and either fix the wires or replace the handle.
