Odometer not working! Need ideas!

Hey guys I am working on a 2001 F-350 7.3 4x4 formally auto truck that was swapped to a ZF5 manual trans.

The odometer is not currently working along with the cruise.
How is the odo controlled? Is there a sensor that relates to that?

I thought the ZF5 swap might have messed with the odo but I know auto-manual swaps are done all the time with no effect on the odo.

Any ideas on what I need to check on why the odometer is not registering?

Does the speedo work or it just the odometer that's the issue?

Swap in a different gauge cluster if you can. Its probably something internal.
