Oil cooler replacement

So I'll be changing my oil cooler here soon as my deltas are about 25*. I also plan on egr delete and newer turbo while I'm at it. My question is, what else should I replace or do while it's apart? I already have the upgraded standpipes and oil fittings. And the egr delete will have the intake gasket and the up pipe replacement. I'm gonna go with an 03 turbo or a pmax with plans of a 366 t4 in the future. Any ideas or suggestions will help. Also gonna dump CCv In atmo.

This March I am hoping tio do the same and I am also doing ARP studs.

You could also re route your coolant out of the manifold. Absolute sells the block off plates for the manifold also http://powerstrokearmy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40084

What's the benefit of this? Just to keep the coolant out of places to cause problems?

Keeps the coolant out of the manifold, lets the cooler flow much better.

I would do a ported intake manifold. There are plenty of options out there if you do a search.

What are the benefits? Just more air flow? Reliability?

lower egt's better air flow, faster throttle response. I got one of odawg's on my truck and it was noticible the second I took it for a drive.

I will look into this and see if it'll be feasible for me this go round. Military money is low these days...
