What would cause oil to mix into the coolant, Oil cooler obviously but is there anything else possible? What all is involved in doing an oil cooler on one these trucks? Thanks in advance

Horrible state of CA
Oil cooler.

Best way is to remove the cab. Turbo comes off and fuel bowl too. U can lease the intake manifold on. And a good flush.

Yeah but it's a pain. And if u strip a bolt on the back of turbo. It's game over.

I didn't say it was fun...LOL. heck I have my cab off right now to reroute my wastegate/build ne up pipes, and put a new front cover on the engine.

I didn't want to muck up his thread, I reused my old cover on the new motor because the reman motor had a stripped out hole in it. I had a slight coolant loss and found coolant in the oil so I pulled my cover and found cavitation. Putting a new cover on today.
