Oil temp sender location

I just bought a autometer oil temp guage for cheep and am going to install it and just wondering it the port right above the oil filter (below the cooler) is good for that. I already have a pressure sensor for my fuel system in the port at the rear of my block.

As long as the port is not "dead-headed" (which I don't think that is), you should be fine. Temperature senders need flow past them to work well. Cheers!

Put mine in the top of the hpo res, but that was what i wanted to monitor.
