Well I'm not going to put a spare back under and I'm trying to tuck the pipe up high then just have a chrome tip come down right at the bed corner.

More (clean) air never hurts! Lol. On a 7.3 you can't beat the Napa 6637 mod. If you don't have a intake already Riffraff diesel has a kit that comes with everything you need to do it. Here's a pic of the filter with pre filter on my 7.3. I had a k@n intake tube on mine already.

Or instead of a "kit" just a section of 4" exhaust pipe will work, then throw in the 6637.

Well I put my new programmer on the truck today I went from an old diablo motors sports from about 2002 from when my dad first got the truck and now I'm putting the new edge evolution on it and have to say I thank the evolution is better on my trans. The power setting are very healthy I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it on a 7.3 it's a 2000

I had an old style Evolution on my e99 7.3 and I loved it. I went from an old TS 6 position chip and the Edge did a lot better power wise. I had the ZF6 I wasn't an auto so I can't say much for how it would work on an auto.
