Opinions on Spartan tuner

Hey guys, I'm sure this topic has been covered before and I apologize. What's everyone's thoughts on a spartan tuner? I'm mainly interested in one to do an egr and dpf delete. I have an aFe 4 inch downpipe back exhaust. Other then that the truck is stock. Thanks!

As you were told in your other thread it's illegal to remove the EGR/DPF.

Maybe I'm wrong but you sound like someone who's on a fishing expo to try and get another company in trouble, heck maybe even trying to get guys who run certain things in trouble as well.

Did I ever say it was for street use? It's only illegal to remove it if you're driving on the street. And I have tried searching this stuff, that's why I'm here.

Look I wasn't trying to pick a fight but these days you can't be to careful with people because you just never know.

You never said what you intended to do with the truck -street or strip/track- so maybe if you posted up a thread stating what you drive and what your plans are guys would be more open to help but you're always going to get the "just use the search function" type response because these things have been gone over time and again.

We offer tunes ranging from 40-310 HP, EGR delete files from 40-250 HP (275+ are EGR delete), and we offer two different torque converter lock-up options (EL and LL)… If I'm not mistaken, we offer the most tunes out of the box.

Edited, but taken from a thread 9 threads down(as of me copy and pasting) with "Spartan" in the title. I know searching can be tedious, but people get tired of these threads, or at least I do. Especially on such a frequently asked question, maybe the mods should sticky a thread for tuner questions like this so ppl can stop asking.

As far as reviews, I've read mostly positive things, and the negatives were often a combo of ignorance/stupidity( I think someone was complaining about losing rp running stock fuel and a huge tune with high pw, yea…that'll happen)

And Jeff(SPARTAN) is on here and can address issues, along with more experienced members.
