Ordering a leveling kit and shocks tomorrow, any suggestions?

not arguing with the effectiveness of a 4-link in a toy truck.

wondering about the effectiveness of a 4-link in a daily driven truck.

mainly, a steering system designed around a 3-link, that moves in a arc, now converted to a 4-link which will move the axle straight up, no tilt, no arc.

what else has to be changed on the truck to run a 4-link in a DD?

There are trade offs and benefits to both the 3-link/radius arm and a 4-link. All depends on what the truck is being used for and what the customer wants out of it. There a few "in depth/passionate" discussions of them on here. I would suggest doing a search to keep this thread more on track for the OP's intentions here.
