Over head pod for DashDaq

Has any one tried to modify one of these autometer-edge overhead pods to fit a DashDaq?

How much are they? My Dashdaq pod won't stay put, and I haven't figured out a way to secure it.

I bet it'll fit just like the other edge pods that hold a dd...steel plate that holds the dd secure that hits the top and bottom of the edge mount

Prob so. I tried moving my DD up by the rear view mirror a while back, cord was too short. But I do put it up at the top left of the windshield every once in while with no problems.

Just scooped one on eBay for $60

That may be an issue. I don't have the console so I can't say.

I'm using the new edge universal 2 1/16th pod mount adapter with my Infinity monitor in my Duramax. Works pretty good.

Nope if I had the original mount I could have easily made it that way. I don't worry about that sh1t up in NH.

I really like the fit and finish of that mount. Just not the angle. I like how mine faces right at me. I am using the dashdaq mount and original cable. No extensions or anything. Took and little bit of thought routing the cable. And I kind of remember taking the mount apart and flipping one piece over to get the angle right.
