Yes I have searched and googled but can't seem to find this anymore.

I saw a thread SOMEWHERE, about the wiring by the passenger door whereby you could make the overhead console light stay bright. IE lights on in the daytime and it usually goes dim.

Anyone remember seeing this somewhere?

Thanks. John

I remember the mod did it to mine and it quit working 4 years later. IIRC it was cutting a wire in the console harness. The main reason they quit is because of a resistor coming loose off the circuit board.

Now back to my original question.

I want to make the OC light stay bright with the lights on and NOT dim when i use the headlights in the daytime in the rain.

My review of this mod:
Skill level.............................Moron
Tools............Needle nose and small flathead screwdriver.

Wife asks if I need help and I said "Sure, bring me a cold beer"

I was done before she got back. :D

( For newbies. Pull out the RED lock tab in the connector......DON'T just pull like hell on the wire. And put the red lock tab BACK in the connector )

This review is without any warranty express or implied. :pointlaugh:

This should also NOT be in the classified section. Moved please? Thanks.

Who knows what I was doing. No harm no foul.
