These two codes popped up today. Dashdaq says "Transmission fluid temperature circuit A"
Not sure exactly what is wrong. A sensor? solenoid?
Any help is appreciated

i think thats usually the trans temp sensor located in the pan. its a simple fix

I just had both codes come up on my truck. It stopped reading the trans temp and the engine fan engaged. After I pulled over shut down and restarted it wouldn't shift past 4th. I just put a 4 inch down pipe on, I don't see how this would effect the sensor unless the fluid is being heated up in the lines that pass by the downpipe. I was just wondering if replacing the sensor solved your problem and if any of my symptoms were the same as yours?

Get the sensor from ford. Sounds like your problem.

Thanks. I'm going to grab a sensor tomorrow and swap it out. Really don't want to drop the tranny pan and go through that pain, but oh well guess some fresh fluid won't hurt the old girl even though I just did it just recently.

That was the ticket, replaced the temp sensor and code went away. Good to hook now. Thanks for the insight.
