CEL came on yesterday, just got a chance to read it tonight an came up with P1280 injection control pressure sensor circuit low. Does this mean my ICP is bad?

Check the electrical connector. If it is covered in oil, replace it.

It could also be a weak HPOP. Do you have a way to monitor ICP?

that or while its running just unplug it and if it doesnt change the motor at all then its bad...

isnt 1211 the code that means a weak hpop?

after the truck warms up the light turns off. ill try an unplug it tonight an see what happens.

Idle should change because the PCM defaults to a preset ICP setting (about 700psi). If nothing changes, the ICP is bad.

when I first start it the light is on an the idle revs up a little then back down to normal
