First, if dyno number's mean nothing then why are you dynoing your truck tomorrow josh? In fact why dyno any truck at all? And yes lemme launch my truck that is on 40's at the track and see how well that holds up...My truck isn't built for that at all, ment for the street and to throw on the rollers. Btw my truck ran a 12.92 with a 68mm powermax, 190's, and tunes, have the video and slip to prove it. So guess im just as fast as you?

A dyno is mearly a tool...one used for tuning but mostly for $hits and giggles.

We say track times are way more important because I can change 1 input on our dyno...just 1, and have a 400hp rig "lay down" 600 A few more tweeks and that same rig that just ran a 15.1 @ 90mph can lay down 1000hp on any dyno at any time...that why the track is the end all say all. you go a defined distance in a certain amount of time at a certain mph= can't be argued.

I understand that 100%. But help me understand where track time's determine power. And I am not trying to come across as a D*** I am truely trying to understand. There is alot of variables when it comes to running at a track...Such as boosted launches, same truck can have a .5 second difference if he or she decides to launch or not, or how about gear ratio? Gear's more affect where the power ratio is at in the rpm range then anything else, you can have a 1,000hp truck on stock tires one with 3.73 gear ratio and one with 5.30's and times with be totally different, but the HP is still the same, so what other real way is there to measure hp then a accuracte dyno?

There seems to me to many different variables to comparing two truck's track time's. A properly setup dyno to me will give the most level playing field so to say then a track would

A vehicle at a certain weight travels a defined distance at a certain mph and a certain elapsed time..........Law of physics.

When was this? I'd like to see the video cuz when you had stock sticks my tuned 6.7 that ran 14.1 was faster then your truck on the street

Rob when did we race on the street? It was two year's ago, two videos me against drew kelson's duramax and zach klines 12 valve at island, have the videos and slip to prove it.And to boot you said I raced you with stock stick's which means, one, I either had my stock turbo or 2, my regular powermax, so I would say that would put us somewhat close. So BOOM tot he tool above me^ And Jason law physics, first with cant compare two vechiles of different weight, they can have the same horsepower and put down different times for that reason soley, plus with the variables I mentioned above I do not see how track times prove how much power a vechile has.
