Painting my motor.. Need tips!

Seems to me Bean did a really cool looking yellow and black motor a while back.

I think it was in a diesel mag. Something about a 900 HP 7.3. That was built for like 30k. I cant remember exactly. But I would second cat yellow!

The ford dark blue turned out awesome. The pictures really do not do it justice. This is the paint I used and it turned out really well. I spent lots of time prepping it tho.

That dark blue looks awesome... I kinda want a brighter color though. I'm thinking the ford blue or lime green. Idk what second colors I want. All the pics look awesome guys!!

all the painting was done with DupliColor Engine Enamel.... All parts were stripped down to metal then repainted. Dont try to paint when it is too cold or too hot.

That looks awesome!! I'm trying to steer clear from black. I'm afraid if an oil leak comes up it'll be a B to find. I'm thinking lime green with orange compliments!
