Pick up turbo on cab and chassis?

Hello, my 2011 f550 , I'm pretty sure it dropped a valve this afternoon, will confirm in the morning but my question is , I'm looking at wrecker engine as money is tight and it sounds like something may have gone through the turbo , and there is some pickup engines In the area and am wondering if the turbo will be compatible, if anyone has info on this it would be greatly appreciated
