pinion seal replacement.

Hey guys, whats the procedure for replacing the pinion seal for a sterling 10.5?
I replaced the crush sleeve, pinion seal, and nut.
It seems i cant slide yoke on far enough? looking for someone who may have done this before, so i can get the preload right.
Any help is apreciated. Thanks!

I've never replaced anything but the seal if that's all that wrong/leaking. I always measured the distance from the end of the stud, to the top of the nut before removing, then replaced the seal, then put back together with the nut exactly where it was to start so there's no guess work. Have never had any issues

Yea I never replace the crush sleeve. Mark where the nut is on the pinion before removal and then you can get it back to the same place on reinstall.

Mearsur rotational torque before removing nut. Install new seal. Tighten to your spec that you got before removing the nut
