Hey guys

I just bought some platinum wheels and 35s. I'm a little worried my truck may not fit in the garage after I put them on. I'm running 18s and 325 60 18 Toyos. I'm sure a lot of people are running 20 and 35s, if so does your truck still fit in a standard 7 foot garage door. I feel like it will only raise my truck height 2in but I'm not positive. I measured today and the smallest point I have is 2.5 inch to the top. Thanks for any info guys

mine is exactly 6'10" tall with a 2.5 Carli system with full rear leafs, and 35" tires. I clear my garage by exactly 1/4" lol.

No, but I doubt they're 2" tall, but just measure them to be sure.

A 325/60/18 is 33.2" tall. If your new tires measure 35" then you're only adding .9" of additional height. The wheel diameter means exactly nothing in this equation.

I have a 7' door. And I'm on 20s/35s and a leveling kit and I fit with a couple inches to spare. Had a 3" lift and 37s/22's on old 2003 Powerstroke and it still fit also.

True 35.1" tire here. On a 2.5" front lift and 1" taller rear block + bags. Fits in the 7' garage with about an inch. The door attachment arm to the opener had to be cut as it hung too low.

here's an idea... measure the diameter of your current tires...

then measure the diameter of the tires you're wanting to buy.

divide the difference in diameter in half, and that's how much taller your truck will be

rim size doesn't matter, find the overall tire height. Most 35's don't measure a true 35" they are usually 34.5" or so
