When locked in overdrive, empty if I roll into the throttle starting at 1500 rpms it will run good but at 2100 it's like a switch the power just comes on. Is that do to the PCM flash?

Yes
Some tunes have a lot less "light switch effect" and some have a lot more but it is present in almost all tunes.

I run tow files, it's like the trucks PCM won't build full power till 2100
The FICM tune (40hp) has to at 2000 now.

I have the vxcf9 flash right now.

My "light switch" is also my "smoke switch".
Once it hits 2100rpm, the "light switch" turns the "smoke switch" for the rear tires on.


It's also when the hpo pressure goes YEeHAA!!
