Power fold mirrors acting up

My Passenger side mirror has been acting up lately, when I hit the button to fold them in, it doesn't work on the first or second try. It eventually does work, but sometimes they both quit for what seems like 5 minutes. Is there some type of timer built in so they don't overheat or what?

Yes there is a timer in there to keep them from over heating. I have the same problem on mine. The been messed up ever since I accidental folded them in and back out while doing 70mph. I don't think there is much to do besides trying to do the reset procedure outlined in the owners manual or buy new ones
