I hate that I have to do this but I'm putting my precision .308 up for sale. I purchased the rifle in July when it had about 400 rounds through it and I purchased the scope BRAND NEW in August. The gentleman I bought the scope from won it as a prize in a PRS(Precision Rifle Series) match and sold it to me NIB to buy a U.S. Optics 5-25x. Since I got the rifle, I have installed a Surefire muzzle brake and I have only shot 40 rounds through it. It sits in my closet 99% of the time. Here are the specs:
- Remington .308 barreled action cerakoted FDE
- 20" barrel, 1/10 twist
- McRees Precision folding chassis cerakoted FDE (2015 model)
- Surefire 7.62 muzzle brake/suppressor adapter for Surefire Socom 7.62
- Atlas PSR bipod with American Defense quick-detach mount
- Accu-shot Monopod
- Tactical Tailor stock pack
- Timney Trigger(520-CE) set to 11oz
- Viking Tactics sling
- U.S. Optics LR-17 3.2-17x44
- Burris 30mm scope rings(can possibly work out a deal with buyer to upgrade to Seekins, U.S. Optics, Nightforce, etc...)
Includes (1) 10 round and (2) 5 round magazines.
Previous owner told me he was able to shoot about 3" groups at 500 yards (.6 MOA) with 168 FGMM and a Vortex Razor Gen II 3-18x.
Also, the rifle has been used in some matches by the previous owner so the chassis does have some scratches here and there. However, it's nothing that affects the function and honestly I kind of like it with the scratches but to each his own. It's nothing that a good Cerakoter can't fix.
