They said it would just dribble fuel out that line. The main return is off the p pump

That will really be harder to build because they all will have to be custom fit to the main tube. Where the other one I would have used a premade slip fit collector. But still not a problem I have a fancy tube notcher that will make short work of that

With that design, you need to time the exhaust pulses to take full advantage of it. Otherwise, you can actually hurt your exhaust flow.
