Time to get everything ceramic coated.

I port matched all the turbine housings now, and enlarged the wastegate ports in the new 68 X .80 housing.

Getting 4 turbine housings done, hotpipe, and the primary turbo mounting bracket. (cuz it also has the elbow and vband clamp on it for the hot pipe.)

Also got turbo blankets for the T3 and T6...

Added another 1/8" female npt port in the hot pipe elbow so I can run the drive pressure gauge and temperature gauge at the same time, instead of one or the other.

Well I finally got the hot pipe to seal up. (the flex joint was leaking)
Replaced the 3" flex with a 4" and welded it up.
The cheap spray on ceramic coating in a can is crap...crap...crap. I so much as touch the pipe and I'm covered in that chit.
Need to get the turbines done cuz I'm loosing a lot of heat between the turbos....and the primary is starting to rust, cuz I hit a puddle, and the water splashed up onto the turbine housing before I got the fender liner back in.
Gotta get 4 turbines done, cuz I can't make up my mind as to which turbo/housing combo to use yet.
I hear ya about bad stuff happening after doing something nice...

Just hope that maybe my luck has changed....just a bit...

where are you getting your blankets? I'm planning on getting one for the T 6. PTP loks like they have some nice stuff for about 150. DEI is obviously awesome is going to cost you almost 300 bucks for a big blanket...

Picked up the housings, hotpipe, and bracket yesterday.
Still gotta go down and pick up the turbo blankets, 40mm JGS wastegate, and the oversized T3 gaskets.
I'll post more pictures when I pick up the parts.

Here are some pictures of the turbo blankets I ordered from Levi at Turbo Performance Products, and of the 40mm JGS wastegate.

I don't think I'm gonna have time to get the gate in...it may have to wait till winter.
