My dads only getting 13-14 and that is driving like pap. I get 15 running the piss out of it. I'm running 40s too he's on 35s. He has age intake and 4in exhaust no EGR delete yet tho

I get 14-16 highway and 14 in town. 12 is my worst. 12 was the highest I've ever got DPF on. Before I put my wheels on I could get 17-18 highway. All hand calculated.

His tunes have never been updated the trans tuning is horrible In any of the high tunes. Gonna see what we can do to get them updated.

The shifts are really hard like they shake the whole truck. The 2-3 and 3-4 shifts are the worst. I know they are supposed to be firm but not that hard

Did the rough shifts start at random one day or did it always shift hard with the tuner?

The last spartan update had revised trans tuning iirc. Yes the shifts are firm? But you want firm shifts. The shifts are exaggerated by axle wrap. Put a set of traction bars on and you will barely feel the shifts at all.

WHS. your feeling the axle wrap. I would update your tunes anyways because like stated above the shifts are smoothed out a little but still firm.
