what kind of rpm drops could I expect if I change the rearend gears from a 410 to a 373 or a 355? I use truck to pull a 13xxx LB 5er! Would 355 gears be too much ? it is a 2000 7.3 auto stock as of now planning to add a flip chip to it.

At the top right of this page click on the HP calculator. It has a RPM Cal based on gearing tire size. Just remember if you are wanting to figure it for when your in OD to multiple the gearing by ,71.

thanks tarm didn't know it was there and that answers the question even with 3.55's I'll be running 69mph @ 2000 rpms which will keep it in the power band at highway speeds. towing 13000# camper I'm not jumping out at stop lights anyway.
