Finally got out the track, we have a local 1/8th mile here that goes on during the summer. I started out easy in 2wd but was just spinning tire so I used 4wd and started to launch harder, got a best time of 8.97 at 74mph. I was launching around 2000rpm just In drive with the tow haul on.

I'm going back again and just seeing if anyone has any tips to improve my times. What can I do different? The last couple launches when I was trying to spool up it was super hard trying to stay on the line even with holding brakes hard it was trying to pull away. And I was still getting all 4 to break loose.

Any tips? I'm just out to have fun and see what it can do.

you may want to lower your tire pressure for some better traction. launch in 4hi and hold the brakes as hard as you can. i used to be able to get it to 2400rpm on the brakes. now work up to that rpm slowly as you dont want to hop and break stuff.

I would leave somewhere between 10-12psi of boost. Best I did in 1/8 was a 8.91, but that was years ago before I ran SCT with custom tunes.
