Posting this up for my brother. He bought a SxS so he doesn't need it anymore. It was his deer lease truck for the last 3 years.

97 Ram 1500 4x4 ecsb 318 v8 green

The good
Runs and drives,
4x4 works
Cheap

The bad
It's a dodge
It's ugly
It has some leaks like oil and ps
He thinks it might have a bad head gasket
Whole truck has hail damage, including the windshield
The last time it was driven in January it had a charging issue, may need an alternator.
Questionable history

The truck is located a ways north of Abilene TX. A meet can be arranged for a buyer or I can deliver it for a fee. If you want any more info let me know and I can get you in touch with my brother.

Its a little dirty. Has the usual Dodge bumper issue common in this gen.

But these are proof the 4wd works.

This is all he has, but they are pretty recent. A storm blew in while he was in his stand and he waited it out. When he got back to the truck it was sunk in the mud. It got out under its own power though.

This one does NOT have a bad head gasket. That is the red truck. It may have a thermostat sticking because it takes awhile to warm up. This one runs fine though.

We are in Dallas, the truck stays at the ranch. We thought about bringing it back here to try to sell, but that would drive up the price by the time I drive out there and haul it back.
