Been getting a random SES light in the truck. Could be at idle, or going down the road. I have already replaced the CPS, and that didn't really seem to solve anything. Looking for more trouble shooting ideas...

You can change parts all you want, but you really need to pull the codes with the proper diagnostic tool. That will lead in a proper direction, it could be lots of possibilities.

South of Wichita? I think I can pull that off. It would be much appreciated.

Yeah SW, I'm not familiar with the area really, I will be heading up saturday morning. Hauling my 5th wheel up for a buddy to use who just moved there. I will be spending a few hours setting up the camper, but wouldn't mind helping at all.

Hopefully we will be able to know a possible direction. Definitely sounds electrical related. I will bring a spare CPS, ICP, and IPR. Those might help.

The chip to board connection comes to mind for me as well. How snug is the chip to the PCM?
