Something about that damn truck really makes me tingle. And I kinda like the fact it's a gasser. Any noticable gains from all the mods you have done??

Natedog, did you use a lowing kit on your truck or did you just remove a leaf from the rear?

Sorry I haven't been on in a while work has been crazy. The front is factory height and I ordered lowering shackles for the rear from 2 Xtreme 1-2 inch adjustable but I couldn't use the hole that lowers it 2 inches it hit the bottom of the bed so cut the top hole off the shackle and just used the hole that lowers 1 inch. After all that 1 inch wasn't low enough so I pulled the overload out which lowered the truck another 1.5 inch. I'm scared the truck will want to wheel hop now but I'll guess we will see once my new tires come in and go to the track

I have been looking at the DJM kit and, by the sounds of it, the rear end hits the bed too if you don't clearance the bracing directly over the axle.

Jason to be honest I was scared I was just throwing time and money away by buying a gasser but now that it's on the road I'm kinda glad I did it. I've been working with mpt on tunes and they have built one hell of a 93 race tune the truck is actually fun to drive and don't even feel like the same truck. I've owned a couple mustangs idk if the truck is faster in the 1/8 but it is way more fun on the street. From a role the truck barks 2nd 3rd and 4th. I'm waiting on a set of nitto 420s and I'm building trac bars once that's done we will see what it runs at the track

Idk about that kit but I've heard of the with other trucks. I get off work and I check under my truck cause I don't remember there being a brace right above the rear end. I'll check it out let you know.

That silver 6.2 reminds me a lot of the old silver 6.0 on polished harley wheels- pretty sure it was Julian's truck before all the changes...

That black 6.4 looks excellent also! I think I found one picture of it a while back and wanted to see some more it looks great

Have any of you guys went from 2wd to 4x4? I am seriously considering turning mine into an overlanding rig.

I can't find the thread right now, but imelmo's zombie killer truck was an 03 2wd and they converted it to 05+ 4wd. Might contact him.

I know the coil buckets are different on the 05+ 2wd and 4wd, the frame mount is the same between the two, just move holes.
