rear axle

my truck 03 f250 4x4 6.0l when i punch it some times i hear a ping comeing from the rear differential, it will also do if i brake torque it. i know i need traction bars, and will soon be installed, but i was wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if there is something wrong with my axle.

ya put some new ones in about 6 months ago, i didn't put factory in, i did use part store parts, and i know they are never as good but it was doing it before and after. when i have my g/f brake torque it u can watch the pinion load up and right when it makes the ping noise u watch the pinion move down just a little more i did a diff service to inspect the gears there seems to be no abnormal wear or no chipping the gears seam to be contacting in the right spot.
