Rear leaf spring hanger

I need to replace the rear leaf spring hanger on the 1997. I had to notch the shackle to clearance the SD springs.

My question is...does the SD spring hanger holes line up with the OBS frame so I can swap over to the SD shackle?

Also, there was talk about the van spring hanger with the SD shackle but I can't find that thread.

The SD hangar does not line up to the OBS frame bolt pattern.

The van shackle is used with the OBS hangar.

Sky Offroad makes a HD shackle for use with stock springs and a HD shackle to use with SD springs, both using the OBS bracket.

I came up with this. You use the van shackle, don’t remember the year pre 91 I think. But don’t hold me to that. I just had to drill out the spring side for the bigger super duty bolt.

It turns out that the van shackle is superceded to the current OBS shackle.

I ordered the SKY conversion shackle to use SD springs with the OBS frame hanger.
